I would Have to say Budokai, although i actually enjoyed Final Bout. The defaults of Final Bout was just that The controls were way too slow. But Budokai's story mode was awesome, the graphics were really good and the custom characters were pretty neat, although the game could have been MUCH better.

Well I have to say my fav is Budokai but the 2nd one will probably be better
I like them better becuase the sound actually works and Final Bout was never realeased down here except for all the illegal copies

if its any game, its Final Fantasy 7-8-10-X2 but if it DBZ its probably Budokai 2 and Budokai, because they were alot of fun.......

Dragonball Z Ultimate Battle 22 was one of the best DBZ games for two-player tournaments...
Me and SSJ4Goten (SSJ.IT) are still playing a very close tournament!
Dragonball Z Budokai 2 is the latest and greatest overall though, nuff said

I haven't really played much of any of them, but right now it is Dragonball Z Budokai for Nintendo Gamecube. I know they already have the 2nd one for Playstation 2, but I'm not a Playstation fan so I'm going to wait for it to come to Gamecube.
And if you are already saying that it's not going to then you are wrong because I already know for a fact that it is because I have connections with the upcoming games and releases. It's called Nintendo Power! LOL

Lol but seeing as the controller for the ps2 kicks the crap out of the one for the Cube, the ps2 ones is more fun

I actually might have agreed with you with that at first. When the Gamecube first came out I despised their controllers, but after using them for about 3 years now, I've kinda got used to them, but hey that's just one person's opinion.
